Report: Inter Ready To Spend €25 Million On Bordeaux Star Gourcuff

After Real Madrid midfielder Wesley Sneijder ruled out a move to Inter, the Italians are continuing with other options, including Bordeaux midfielder Yoann Gourcuff.

The Frenchman was the 'Player of the Season' in 2008-09 in Ligue 1, leading the club to the title, and has begun this season on a high note, scoring a brace against Lens.

The Nerazzurri are ready to spend €25 million on the French international, nearly double the price Bordeaux spent to keep him at the Stade Chaban Delmas this summer, according to Le Parisien.

On Wednesday, les Girondins president Jean-Louis Triaud had already denied that Gourcuff would be leaving, saying 'he will not move,' but president Massimo Moratti is hoping a substantial offer will change his mind.

Should the move occur, it would be a chance for the 23-year-old to prove himself in Serie A after he received little playing time at AC Milan from 2006 to 2008.
