Security forces are tightly securing the House of Representatives complex at Senayan, South Jakarta, on Friday as President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is scheduled to give a state address.
Security personnel checked incoming vehicles several times and only allowed vehicles with special passes to enter the House complex.
One Air Force helicopter was parked in the complex, Antara news agency reported.
The authorities deploy special security arrangement at the House following the police's recent uncovering of terrorists' plan to attack the President.
Yudhoyono is schedule to give his annual state address before outgoing lawmakers and invited guests at about 10.00 a.m.
