Sriwijaya vs Persipura

Sriwijaya FC is determined to be the party pooper as Persipura bids for a double, after the team from Palembang, South Sumatra, advanced to the Copa Indonesia final with a 3-1 win against Persijap Jepara at home on Wednesday.

Budi Sudarsono opened the scoring for the host before the 10-minute mark at Jakabaring Stadium, before Obiora struck twice in the 27th and 72nd minutes to wrap up the victory.

Persijap pulled a consolation goal through Pablo Franchez three minutes before the whistle.

The win sealed a 5-1 aggregate win for Sriwijaya, following an earlier 2-0 away win. Sriwijaya will take on Persipura Jayapura, the newly crowned Super League champion, in Sunday's final.

Persipura is gunning for the double this year, after chalking up a 6-4 aggregate win from its two matches against Deltras Sidoarjo.

Hosting Persijap in the second leg, Sriwijaya looked to be taking things lightly by resting some of its regular starters.

However, Sriwijaya was still too strong for the visitor. After failing to cash in early on a flurry of goal chances, Budi brought his team in front in the sixth minute.

Despite dominating the game, the next goals did not come until the second half, with Obiora on target for both goals.

Sriwijaya coach Rahmad Darmawan was beaming with victory.

"We're happy about reaching the final," he said.

"We've rested several key players for the final."
