S. Tangerang to shut down night spots earlier

TANGERANG: The South Tangerang municipal administration will order all entertainment centers to close earlier during the Islamic fasting month of Ramadan.

Dadang Raharja, head of the local tourism, youth and sports office, said Tuesday a joint team had been formed to launch random checks and raids on night spots violating the regulation.

South Tangerang is home to 110 entertainment centers: 32 saunas and spas, 13 karaoke houses, 10 pool halls, 12 beauty salons, 14 massage parlors and 33 live music cafes.
